Improper sleep has been linked to several medical disorders and the practice of Sleep Medicine has an integral part in preventative healthcare. There are so many benefits of getting a good night’s rest which are especially important now in our technologically advancing society.

I first became interested in Sleep Medicine after learning the science of sleep during medical school. During my Internal Medicine residency, I rotated in the Sleep Medicine Clinic for several months and got the opportunity to see how working with patients to improve their sleep dramatically impacted their quality of life.  I fell in love with this field of medicine and decided to pursue fellowship training.

Now with my background in Internal Medicine and a sub specialization in Sleep Medicine my goal is to provide a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and managing patients. Through discussion, education, and patient advocacy, I look forward to working alongside patients to improve not only their sleep, but also their daytime functioning, mood, and overall health.
