My interest for sleep medicine began as a pediatric resident, when I realized how important sleep was for the development and behavior of my patients. I am a fellowship trained sleep medicine physician, and I love to see a variety of patients from newborns to adults.

Approximately 50-70 million people in the US are currently facing a sleep disorder, affecting as many as 25 to 40 percent of children and adolescents.

Left untreated, sleep disorders increase the risk of chronic medical problems such as obesity, heart disease, type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, depression and strokes, can worsen mood disorders and even increase the risk of dementia.

My goal is to help my patients to understand their sleep, and make it better.
