The time we spend sleeping might not be the most active part of our day, but it is certainly one of the most important. Sleeping is when our bodies take the time to repair, recover, and prepare ourselves for the next day. It’s easy to take this for granted until you have a bad night of sleep. As a former night shift hospital worker, I saw first-hand the effects of sleep deprivation. My goal is to help my patients overcome any barriers to them getting a good night’s sleep every night and reap all the benefits that come with that.
