Every night, like clockwork, we make sure our cell phones are plugged in to recharge so they have full battery life for the next day. People are no different, requiring proper, efficient sleep to recharge their minds and bodies to keep them both mentally and physically healthy. However, thousands of people are unable to effectively “recharge” due to underlying sleep disorders or poor sleep efficiency.  As an experienced physician assistant and in my last 15 years in orthopedics and orthopedic surgery, I saw first-hand how important sleep is in losing weight, improving concentration, strengthening the heart, maximizing athletic performance, and preventing/healing injuries. Alongside my peers at the Comprehensive Sleep Care Center, I want to help improve patients’ sleep quality so they can improve their quality of life. My goal is to help patients become the best versions of themselves, starting with getting better sleep, which in turn will make them happier and healthier. I firmly believe that taking care of yourself and becoming a stronger, healthier, better-rested you will provide the energy required to better care for your family, your friends, your neighbors, and your community.
